Life can be challenging and even overwhelming at times, making it difficult to find or maintain balance in our lives. For many years now I’ve helped individuals and couples in a variety of settings to cope with personal challenges and emotional struggles; and to address whatever is keeping them stuck in unhelpful thoughts, patterns or behaviors.
I believe that successful therapy is primarily based on two things, the client’s commitment to work on issues and the trusting relationship that is established between client and therapist. It is important to me that each individual or couple feels heard and respected. I offer a warm and accepting environment so my clients feel safe enough to do the work needed to address whatever is causing them pain or discomfort.
Sometimes they learn strategies to manage and grow from their situation or circumstance; and sometimes they gain the courage to develop new strategies that take them in a different direction. The goal is determined by the client. My job is to provide the tools they need to obtain their goals.
